We are proud to serve Thumann’s meats and cheeses…the deli best. The Thumann family has been producing the highest quality, most delicious meats for more than half a century, guaranteeing Palmer’s customers the best tasting, healthiest deli meats available. There are no artificial flavorings or colorings, by products, fillers or gluten in our meats. Thumann meats are trans fat free and contain absolutely no MSG.

Our Thumann’s Golden Roasted turkey is the best on the market today. They start with a premium fresh whole white turkey breast, expertly trimmed to perfection, hand rubbed with delicate all natural seasonings, and roasted to perfection. Thumann’s turkey breast is good for you! 99% fat free, no saturated or trans fat, low sodium and Gluten free, too! Our turkey is endorsed by the American Heart Association, the Gluten Intollerence Group of North America and the United States Feingold Program for people with sensitive diets. Hand sliced by the pound or on our delicious sandwiches or salads.

Paul’s Grains

We know at Palmer’s, to offer the best sandwiches in town, we had to have great bread. That’s why we bake our own artisan breads every night, from scratch, so they will be optimum fresh for our customers the next day. At BreadWorks, our bread company, we are proud to use Paul’s Grains, for our flour and grains. Paul’s Grains is a family–operated Iowa business located just 56 miles northeast of Des Moines. Their farmland has been certified organic with OCIA, meaning that all flours and grains are of the highest quality and are “chemical free”. Our bakers at Breadworks bake ciabattas, foccaccias, challah, baguettes, ryes, 8 grain, sour dough ,country white breads and rolls,and… seasonal specialty breads.
